Tyreek Chennocal is a Pac-12 offensive freshman of the year

Ty Jordan was originally rated as a four-star prospect and the number five running back in the country by ESPN. He was also a candidate for the national title. He has rated ahead of runner up Christian McClean of LSU and Braxton Kelley of Oklahoma. AP and Scouts Inc. considered him to be the best running back in the country. He was a consensus first-team All-American as a sophomore.

Ty Jordan had a breakout sophomore season, throwing 468 yards and two scores in the first two games. He was injured in the game against Rice and missed the next game but returned to play in the Aledo Bowl against Southern Miss. He had four more touchdown passes in the Aledo Bowl, throwing four more scores, including a game-winner to win the game 34-14. This marked the beginning of a string of four straight bowl wins for Weber State.

In the summer, Ty Jordan transferred to Utah State University to begin his football career. He started on the football team as a freshman running back but moved to wide receiver later. He earned honorable mention All-conference one year, two-second team All-conference selections, and was named the conference’s top receiver in the 2020 season. The coaching staff and fans had high expectations for Ty Jordan after several major plays in the bowl victory. He earned All-conference second team all three years and was the leading receiver in the 2020 recruiting season.

Ty Jordan had a strong finish to the 2020 season, improving his numbers from his breakout junior season. He caught thirty-one passes for 597 yards and four scores. He also scored the game-winning touchdown against USC in the bowl game. He had a strong game against Arizona State, catching seven passes for 140 yards and a final overtime score. He then had a strong game against Colorado, averaging four receptions for 60 yards and one touchdown.

Jordan has been invited to the 2020 Combine, which will be held in April. He will likely go to combine not only as a wide receiver but also as a running back. Many people have projected Jordan as a possible first overall pick in the draft. Some analysts have him as a potential top-five pick. There are only a few prospects that combine being a great wide receiver, a great runner, a fantastic blocker, and an excellent receiver who is also a good runner. There are very few prospects in this year’s NFL draft that have all of those characteristics.

Ty Jordan is one of those players. The question now is how high he can reach? Some reports say he is going to exceed the expectations that people have placed on him. Some reports say he is not going to be a top ten pick in the upcoming NFL draft. I asked myself whether or not the inside speculation that is doing is believable or not.

I went on to say that there are many things that people will want to see before them jumping to make judgments about the athlete. Most people have Ty Jordan listed as their top running back prospect, but I don’t know how far he can go until someone actually sees him play. So, for this season, I will believe that Ty Jordan is a top-five pick in the upcoming NFL draft. He has more skills than many of the players that have been elevated to that position. He has more upside than some of the other players that have been ranked ahead of him.
