Paul Gosar

Since last year, Paul Gosar is a former dental surgeon and state politician who is serving as the U.S. Representatives for Arizona’s 4th Congressional district. Previously, he served as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives. Currently, he is serving his second term. Before this appointment, Dr. Paul Gosar served as the state’s Budget director.

What has brought him to the political forefront? Recent controversial statements have brought Paul Gosar into the limelight. Some say that he is concerned about the upcoming mid-term elections and the impact that they will have on the United States government. He has also been criticized for not calling on the Republican Congress members to investigate what exactly is going on with the “vacancies” in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate. These ” vacancies “underlie” the recent controversies within the U.S. House and the U.S. Senate. As we saw during the George W. Bush administration, many vacancies were created by former political opponents of the Bush Administration.

An interesting political controversy that Paul Gosar is involved in involves a pair of congressional brothers who conflict with their sister’s marriage to George H.W. Bush. The younger brother, Rep. Jim Kolstad, who is running for a seat in the U.S. House, has called his sister, Nancy B.Kolstad, a “sworn enemy” because of her marriage to former President Bush. The younger brother, Rep. Jeff Flake, is running for the U.S. Senate against Senator John McCain.

In early January, the two brothers released a statement about their sister, saying, “Nancy is now getting on with her life, her husband and her passion. She will not be missed, and neither will our family.” Shortly after that statement, Paul Gosar posted a link to an article about their sister’s marriage on his Facebook page. On Jan. 6, Paul went on to write, “I am glad she decided to share her story and her life with all of us here today. It is good to hear that someone in America today does not hold back when it comes to standing up for what’s right.”

How much do we know about Paul Gosar? What about his political affiliation? According to his official bio on the House website, Paul served as a representative of Arizona in the House of Representatives from 1994-2021. Paul did not win his election to represent Arizona, but he did become speaker of the House. During the term of Speaker Gosar, the state of Arizona became a state within the U.S. Congress.

Okay, so let’s talk about this whole “anti-activist” thing that he’s been tweeting about over the last few weeks. It seems like Paul, and Sarah Palin were on some yacht somewhere during the presidential election. Palin was spotted holding up an American flag that looked very similar to the American flag used by the United States founder. Paul was also snapped, looking rather sad and a bit messy, as if he had gone somewhere to cry. The controversy began when Sarah Palin gave a speech on the day of the election claiming that President Bush stole the election from her and that Paul was the one who lost it.

Okay, so let’s talk about this for a second, shall we? If Paul Gosar believes that the election was stolen from him by President Bush, then isn’t it President Bush who won the election and therefore should have been awarded the office as well? After all, President Bush did lose, didn’t he? President Bush is a man who has done a lot of great things and helped strengthen the American economy. So shouldn’t his victory be considered a success of sorts?

Well, that is one argument that I can see as a reasonable dispute. Still, there is another view that perhaps President Bush might have lost the election based on the turnout and the overall vote totals. Some say that turnout was low because many people believed that they wouldn’t change their minds and that Bush would win anyway. Then what happened? Hurricane Katrina, maybe?
