Chrissy Teigen was born in Southern California. She is a graduate of Santa Barbara City College and currently a practicing massage therapist. As a massage therapist, she has worked in various spas and health centers all over the United States and Canada. Most people do not realize that in addition to being a professional massage therapist, she also is a Thai massage practitioner. Her experience with Thai massage dates back to her college days, and her interest in the ancient practice of Thai massage grew.
As she grew older, she became interested in researching the body’s energy flow and its physical self. After many years of studying and learning from various instructors, she came up with a Therapeutic Touch or TA system. The system helps a client release and transform their emotional, mental, and spiritual energy, and as a result, their energetic system becomes more stable. It helps the body heal itself by helping it move away toxins stored in the body, stimulating the immune system, and increasing its ability to fight infections.
As a result of her studies, she developed TheraCure, which is now used worldwide to help thousands of people with chronic illnesses. She began teaching this system to the western world in the early nineties. In addition to helping people heal themselves, TheraCure can also help restore the body’s ability to heal itself when it is being damaged. As a result of her teaching and research, Thai Massage and TheraCure are now used by many chiropractors across North America.
Her book, Body Break, was published in 1998 and was quickly followed by Body Mastery: A Chiropractic Approach to Finding and Healing Your Mind, Body, and Spirit. She has since developed numerous other books and DVD’s that help with a variety of health concerns and illnesses. In addition to teaching and writing several well-respected publications, Teigen has been featured on numerous television shows, including Wheel of Fortune and The Oprah Winfrey Show. These appearances have helped increase her credibility as a legitimate health consultant and helped raise her profile to those interested in learning more about TheraCure and other similar products.
In addition to teaching consumers how to use TheraCure, Teigen provides consumers with valuable information on what foods to avoid and how to maintain proper nutrition. It is obviously intended for people diagnosed with an illness or condition and wants to learn more about overcoming their difficulties. However, it also serves as a valuable resource for anyone interested in learning more about the health sciences and their ability to effect positive change within the body. The Healing Manual is a quick and easy read that is sure to provide readers with a great deal of insight into how they can improve their health today.
